Winter Wonderland

So, we here in Utah just got our first good sized winter storm this weekend. It was lovely! Everything white and glistening...I love it! The snowy day did not take me away from my daily duties though. I hosted a birthday party at my house for lunch, we dined on english muffin pizza's, cake and some salad. Yum.

Then I curled up and watched a good movie with the fire going. Ah, the joys of being single!

Then came the good stuff. I got out my apron and my cooking supplies and whipped up a Blackberry, Raspberry and blueberry pie, a mixed berry crisp and some real homemade whipped cream. It was delightful!

It was enjoyed by many, and more to give away today. I love the holiday season, it gives me reasons to bake and share.

After a piece of pie or crisp, my roommates and I headed out side to build a snow woman. SO FUN!

She now greets friends and neighbors as they come to our front door.
