Adults

I was under the illusion that by marrying my sweet Jared, that I might see him occasionally.

Not True.

We both work between 40-60 hrs a week, and while one of my jobs allows Jared to come along, it's still work. By the time we are both home, fed and cleaned up from the day, we are exhausted. Keeping our eyes open is almost as hard as trying to wake up at 3 every morning.

I wish I saw him more. It seems I can't get enough time with him, which is good, but frustrating.

So, we plan out the time we do happen to have together will all the things we need to do and at least one fun thing. Which tends to be grabbing a movie from redbox on our way home and getting comfy and trying to stay awake for a few hours.

We paid off our couch this last week and we were so excited to have one less bill to pay each month...and I realized I am a full-fledged adult.

Complaining about not seeing my husband enough, being excited about paying off a couch and a fun evening is not wearing jeans and watching a movie at home.

Guess it was about time I hung up my not quite adult ways and went ahead and gave in. Well, at least I haven't given up dying my hair, then I would look as old as think I am. (although someone guessed I was only 23 a few days ago and made my week!)

Lucky you! I got told from a little swim lesson kid that I was a hundred and then when I told him I was 25, he quickly exclaimed in a shocked tone "You're only in your twenties?!" Gotta love kids.
