New Baby

My Sister Robin had her baby this morning, around 1am. Thought I would share the news.

Coincidence?

So while chatting with some friends talking about nieces and nephews and the names, it was pointed out to me that I have a niece named Alice (my sister Jessica's daughter) and Caius (Robin's son)...and didn't I find it odd that there were both names from the Twilight series? I laughed, but let me just say, if I suddenly end up with a nephew named Jasper, Emmot (which I totally hope I don't, I like that name!) or Edward or I happen to get a niece named Bella, Esme or Renee, I will start to be curious.

In other news, I totally got the most rockin' compliment the other day. I was wearing these amazing black satin heels and since I have been working so hard at the gym and all, I have these killer legs that when I walk, especially in heels, my muscles really show. So I was wearing these heels and a grey pencil shirt and some guy told me that I had the hottest legs, that the muscles were totally doing it for me. Um, hello, I know! haha. Made my day. I am starting to see definition in the arms (always been my worst features) and that is awesome. I'm just enjoying the fruits of sweaty-hard labor.

Pizza and the 24th of July

Today was Pizza Night for my family. The tradition is that when someone has a baby that the family, well everyone but new mom and baby because they are generally still in the hospital, everyone else goes out of pizza to celebrate. In talking with my mom today she told me that it was that day to celebrate Robin having Caius. So in honor of my family, I called on my best friends and we got pizza to celebrate. For a moment I was close, at least in spirit to the family and yes I enjoyed my pizza!

PS, Liz, notice a very cute and very well used purse on the counter behind me? LOVE IT!

After we played a little guitar hero, which I must admit I am getting good at. I am as shocked as the rest of the world by this news. I blame Logan.




We went to check out the fireworks as well. I was a fun night to just hang out and enjoy my friends. I really enjoyed that chance to just be with friends. They slip in and take the empty spots left by family far away.

After the fireworks, we realized that some of the trees had caught fire and the fire engines were there to put it out. it was pretty cool.

New Nephew!

My sister Robin just had her baby, a boy, 7lbs 8 oz of boy! His name is Caius LeGrande...as soon I as I have more info I will be sure to add pictures and all of that. For now, I have a new nephew.
