Peeps
My MIL and I have something in common, we love peeps. She likes them stale and hard, I like them not as stale. While at her house this was the stash that was shared with me. And that doesn't count the two open ones getting stale on the counter! I took a package and called it good.

Happy Christmas
I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday. Enjoy yourself and that does include enjoying some yummy food too. Just try to keep it in moderation. I will try too.
Feliz Navidad!

Cheesey
Happy Cinco De Mayo my friends. I hope you enjoyed it half as much as you enjoyed the day before. I hope the "Fourth" was with you. Cheesy I know, but c'mon, who am I if not the cheesy one?

Disgruntled
Don't get me wrong, I love the holidays. I enjoy the hustle and bustle, the music, the lights...I enjoy it all. I enjoy the parties and events too.
What I don't enjoy, the disruption of my schedule. The older I get the more I like my routine. I like knowing that I have to get up at the same time everyday and my body knowing it too. I like knowing that I have to be at certain places at the same time every Monday or any other day. I like the routine. Not that I don't enjoy a little variety and some spontaneity on occasion, I do!
I have been going to bed so late ever since New Years. Staying up until 2am really threw my schedule off. Now at 12:30am I am begging myself to sleep. When the alarm goes off I am hitting the snooze button. I hate that! Normally I am awake a few minutes before the alarm and have plenty of time. Not this week.
Other than that though, I am happy my week has gotten back to normal. The next few months move so quickly, spring will be here before we know it.

Black Friday
Yeah, I am one of those people who wake up at insane hours and camp out at stores to get a deal or two. I have a favorite Black Friday website (or two) that gives me all the deals in one place. So I comb through the ads, make lists and then work on the lists again comparing prices and distance from other stores.
I get a group together, we make attack plans. Each heading in different directions while one of us secures a place in line. We have goals people!
I have never had someone get hurt, hit, knocked over or anything of the sort. It has always been fun and entertaining. Hot chocolate, warm gloves, hats and scarves are all very important to the plan.
So while you may be sleeping, I am getting some steals and making some of the most entertaining memories. I am always willing to take on a newbie or two or add veteran Black Friday shoppers to the group.

St. Patty's Day
In honor of this wonderful holiday...I give you this:
Three leaf clovers are said
and four leaf clovers too,
to bring you luck
so I found about 42.
Rainbows have a pot of gold
if you can only find the end,
But they are just a circle, or so I'm told.
Finding a little extra luck
that's what I am trying to do,
I even kissed the Blarney...
what else can I do?
I hope that this day of green and leprechauns finds you and all of yours with a little extra luck. And hopefully you find that pot-o-gold or maybe just a resolution to a frustrating situation.
I am enjoying some green oatmeal at the moment and plan on a day full of lucky encounters.
