So in love

My sweet husband made today special. First we went ring shopping. He wants to get a "wedding band" to add to my ring. So we tried lots. We settled on a band much like the picture but with the yellow sapphires. We had to order it in. I am betting it will show up around valentines or my birthday.
Then, he took me to ikea where we shopped until I was content. He spoiled me with all the things I wanted, almost.

Then dinner at the cheesecake factory!

Then we moseyed up to SLC and saw the lights at temple square by way of a horse drawn carriage! What a romantic and sweet husband I have.

We are now on our way to an undisclosed location (known only to Jared). I am so lucky and I love this man so very much. I couldn't have a better husband.

Make up the time to you. Don't give up or lose hope". I of course did quite that word for word, but every day I think of that and I look at my Jared and am more aware of how blessed and happy I am.

Thanksgiving Point and the Flowers

Tomorrow I am heading to Thanksgiving Point and the Tulip Festival. I am so excited to be surrounded by one of my favorite flowers and all the other beautiful spring flowers. It will be a great little day trip.

Not to mention a trip to Ikea too.

Then Saturday is full of lots of fun stuff too. I am happy to be so busy with things I love.

So, this is the Christmas Present from my sister, Robin...

I love this! My bedroom is done in yellow, my favorite color, and this is perfect! I am thinking I need to head down to Ikea and pick up a few other pieces to add to my bedroom. Thanks Robin!

She also loaded me up with dark chocolate, a new toothbrush and Twinkies, a family tradition. you will have to check her blog for pictures of the train I made for nephew Caius and the other bits and pieces.

Shoot!

I had a long and crazy day my friends! I will give the quick synopsis and head to bed...

I went to work. Screaming kids annoy me. Smoking mom's annoy me. Screaming kids with smoking moms who won't come get their kids annoy me. I still love my boys.

Went to a photo shoot with my friend Cassie...she had her head shots and a bunch of pics for her portfolio taken. It was very interesting to be there and to see how the photographer and stylists worked. Very cool.

Went to provo and saw my sister, bro-in-law and nephew, Caius. We celebrated Christmas, a few weeks late, I know, but between schedules and snow, this was the first time we had a chance! I put Caius to sleep and he was so cute! We played a game a phase ten and laughed our way through it (It's a Prom party, you know, like a palm pilot!) and talked about some pretty funny stuff. We really enjoyed it. It was good to see family for a few hours.

I drove home the 75 miles completely on cruise control and munched on chocolate, belted out songs from the Ipod (from john denver, 30 seconds to Mars, Nsync, Pam Tillis, Cake, Yo-Yo Ma and some Ne-Yo).

Now I am home, after forgetting my camera at work today. I had so much to take pictures of today too! Oh well. I'll let your imaginations paint the pictures.

Oh, and don't worry, I will take a picture of my Christmas gift from my sister and post it tomorrow. You will love it. It is totally me and it is from (drum roll please!) IKEA. I can almost see Liv anxiously awaiting this post. haha!
