A Spring Day
This weekend we went down to the tulip festival. It was beautiful! I only uploaded a few pics from my phone, lots more will come.

Blast
Well, my friends got sick and chickened out of heading down to the Tulip Festival because it had been raining all morning. It didn't seem to matter that it cleared out in the afternoon and was the perfect day for going. I am bummed.
I may just go down on Monday on my own, since I have a random day off. Anyone want to join me?

Thanksgiving Point and the Flowers
Tomorrow I am heading to Thanksgiving Point and the Tulip Festival. I am so excited to be surrounded by one of my favorite flowers and all the other beautiful spring flowers. It will be a great little day trip.
Not to mention a trip to Ikea too.
Then Saturday is full of lots of fun stuff too. I am happy to be so busy with things I love.

Spring?
It feels like spring. It was 60 degrees here today. The sun was out and I got into a hot car as I left work today. I left my front door open today and enjoyed the sunlight and warmth the sun provided. I did some spring cleaning...changed the wreath on the front door from the winter one to the spring, cleaned out the car, and all of those sweet spring cleaning things.
And then...I went outside to check out the flower beds. My tulips and daffodils are coming up!

Spring has Sprung

I love this time of year. My tulips are finally blooming. I love the bright red and the one yellow that pops up in my front flower bed every year. The yellow may seem like it sticks out like a sore thumb, but to me it is wonderful. I love that is stands tall and proud being the same as the red ones, but is so different. It is just a beautiful and I love having it remind me that being the one that sticks out isn't always a bad thing.

Spring has finally hit Utah. Welcome back old friend!
