3 For The Price Of 1

I have had a hectic and crazy weekend. That seems to be the theme of my life lately, crazy and hectic. Not that I mind too much, I just wonder where all my time goes then I make a list of what I have done the last few days and I am more amazed at what was done than wondering about where my time went. That is what it is is like to be an adult I suppose.
I scored this weekend on some amazing shoe finds. Amazing. These amazing yellow gems are my favorite because, well, we all know that I have now and always loved yellow. These just screamed at me, "Buy me! Take me home! You know you want me!" And I just couldn't resist. So I added them to my collection and I am happy.

I also added a new pair of gym shoes for a steal! A good brand and pair of shoes at clearance prices with coupons...you can't go wrong. I also managed to pick up a cute pair of summer shoes too. Apparently I was on a shoe buying kick this weekend. All totaled up though it cost me less than $50, so I think it is ok. The gym shoes should have set me back that much and I got two more pairs out of it.
This week is going to be crazy and I am really going to be running around a lot. I will try to keep things updated though. I am going through some more interview processes this week and some pretty interesting changes otherwise. I have so much in the air! If it weren't for my iPhone I wouldn't keep up with anything anymore. Heaven forbid I lose that thing.
Only 4 more days till the mini vacation begins and I get to just take some time away though. I can hardly wait!

Endless Christmas

So my Christmas keeps coming and coming. I love it.

Today's gift was from my dear friend Liz. In an engraved case she gave me chopsticks engraved with my name (on the box and on the chopsticks themselves!)! I know it seems cheesy, but we have lunch once a week and one of the places we like to eat is a Chinese place. I complain about not getting chop sticks or the quality all the time. So, my dear friend gave me my own set and I love them!

I got this cute blanket from my kids, Livy, Kiki and Milo all helped make it, isn't it sweet? I love it, because it is from them.

Christmas keeps coming and coming. I am so blessed. Over and over again.

Early Christmas

These and a designer Snuggie are what I got for Christmas yesterday. I laugh at the idea of a "designer" snuggie, because really? They need to have designers copying this? It is full of down and the inside is soft and the outside a durable red, but still. I like it but it makes me laugh.
These shoes on the other hand...awesome. I have to go get the right size, but I am highly intrigued by these little gems. The Reebok Easy Tone is the name and if you haven't hear of them or seen the ads, they are supposed to help you sculpt your butt and legs. The idea is that you are are constantly balancing on the balance balls in the heal and toe of the shoe so you are constantly working those muscles, making the toning process a success. I'll let you know what I think after I wear them a little. I have to actually have time to go get the right size as well, so it may take a few days.
I am off to go make holiday cupcakes with my favorite kids. Wish me luck!

Decision

Ok, so I have a big decision to make. When I say big, I mean big.
I have been following and loving this company for a while now and have been intrested in being a part of it (http://myshoeshoppe.com/). Today I got the offer to be a part of it. So exciting!
I just have to decide if my enthusiam for it is just because it sounds fun, or if I am really going to love it. I really do love it, I am not going to lie. I am a great saleswoman and who doesn't love shoes?
It is just one more opportunity that has presented it's self. How blessed I am to have so many opportunities!

Shoe Party!

Last night I had a shoe party. What is a shoe party you ask...well let me tell you. Tons of shoes and tons of friends and you just try them on and enjoy shoe shopping at home with friends! I loved it. It was a lot of fun for me and I got a few new pairs of shoes...only a few though.

Just a few pictures of the shoes that were hanging out to try on.

Some great friends and some of the girls from work, from left to right: Nicole (yeah, she spells it wrong), Micquellyn and Chantal. These girls are so much fun and I was so happy that they got to come.

I had a lot of people come and I forgot to take pictures until people had already left, which made me sad.

I was so happy my friend Liv got to come. She even found some cute shoes to go in her super wonderful new closet her husband just built her. I even copied her great taste with these great yellow shoes...yeah, you heard me right, yellow.

All in all it was a great night. I had a lot of fun with a lot of great friends and it was exactly what I needed. I'll post pictures of the shoes when I get them.

Wow

Lots has happened since the last post, in fact way too much to begin to tell you about tonight so I will just give you a piece or two until I have time. Maybe tomorrow.

I am pretty much moved in. Wow, it is so hard to move. I don't know why I thought it would be such a good idea. Oh well, it is done now and I really enjoy it. Love the new place and decorating...wow! I love it! I'll post before and afters when I am done.

Our big temple day was scheduled on Saturday and I started heading down there only to begin puking at a stop light in a car full of girls. It wasn't even my car and I totally couldn't get the door open before the next stop and managed to get the door in my next spewing. How sad! I managed to get to Provo and my sweet sister took time out of her Saturday to bring me back home since I hadn't driven. I then took a wonderful 5 hour nap...it was heaven to a sick me. Feeling lots better now but vomiting was gross. I hadn't done that in years.

On Sunday I got an Easter gift...a cat. Not really traditional, but what I managed to get. In fact it wasn't even for me specifically but the cat latched onto me and I can't get rid of her. I am not an animal person so this will be interesting.

This is the pretty Gayla. I am most definitely not a cat person, but we will see what happens. I will keep you updated.

And I am hosting a shoe party this Friday night. That is right, a shoe party. Think Tupperware but with shoes! Super cute and good prices, I can't wait! If you are in the area and want to come for an hour of shoe goodness, let me know! I will give you details and you will love it. Plus you can get a sneak peek at the new house, now who doesn't want that? haha!

The Purple Shoe Bonus

I got a bonus at work this week. Normally this means money of some kind, not in my case. In my case I picked up these oh-so-me purple shoes. I mean who doesn't love a job where the bonus is a great pair of shoes? Next month the orange purse I have been eyeing...

New and Entertaining

Well since it is fall I have started decorating for that season that is my favorite of all. I can not get enough of the colors and the smells. I love the fall! So this year when I found this adorable scarecrow decked out in an orange jumper I just couldn't pass her by and the price was just right (a whole $4!). She stands about 5 feet tall and adds the perfect amount of me to the outside of the house. I love it. We named her Autumn. Fitting, don't you think?

The next new and entertaining thing in my life is this new pair of Steve Madden black spiked heals. You married women out there may drool over these second-look inducing heals. Let me tell you I have loved wearing them! I even had a guy come up to me and mention that I had some great legs. Now really ladies, who does not want to hear that? I know I do! I may not have great legs, but it was sure nice to hear it and let me tell you the first outfit I wore with these was hot enough that it deserved the compliments and the dates that came from them. These black shoes ooze whatever it is the makes the male species take a second look, and seeing as I am a single woman of 28, I find great joy in the second look.
