The reconciling

The hubs and I enjoyed a game night with friends and then a lazy morning with no alarms. We woke up and chatted about life and plans and memories of the last few years.
It was easy and fun. It was calm and beautiful. It was perfect,
We want kids, more than anything. I pump my body full of hormones and meds for the chance to get pregnant. But...
I love where we are. I love waking up next to my sweetheart, to smile as he puts his arm around me as we talk about everything. I love the calmness and happiness that just being together gives us.
I am ok with where we are, because it is such a sweet place. I sometimes feel bad that I am ok with where we are, even though we ache for kids. It is hard reconcile those two places and feelings in life.
For today, being with my husband is enough. Together we are enough.

Almost There

Girls camp is right around the corner. I am down to the last few things on my list. I think these turned out great, don't you?

On The Go

We are on our way to celebrate Conley and Colby's birthday. Thought updated pictures were in order. Jared always looks the same. Love that man.

No Hair?

I love my husband, no matter what. But, I hate when he shaves. That smooth face just doesn't make me happy. So, what does he do? He shaves it all off this weekend.

I threatened to shave my head every time he shaves his face, he called my bluff. On our first date he had no hair on his face and I fell for him then so it shouldn't be so hard.

Oh well. I love him anyway.

Happy Easter

We don't have the patience to wait until morning. So, here is our first Easter. I got him a green lantern tee, just like Sheldon's and he bought me a new dress. I may have picked out the dress myself, but still. The tee was more expensive, so I'm pretty happy about that. And I am excited about the chapstick, two flavors that mix...can't wait to try them tomorrow.

We enjoyed "We Bought a Zoo" tonight and a few butterfinger eggs.

I love my life and my sweet husband who, at this moment is rubbing my feet.

Romantic

My sweet husband spoils me. And I mean spoils me rotten.

He came to me last week and said he wanted to take me to dinner. Ok, no big deal. Then he asked me to dress up. He took me to a fancy dinner at the prairie schooner.

It's a themed restaurant where you eat in covered wagons and it's so yummy. I enjoyed amazing clam chowder, yummy salmon and yummy veggies. Jared enjoyed steak and salad.

Then afterward he took me to our favorite shake shop, Jake's Over the Top. Where we got and shared a medium Oreo shake, our favorite!

My husband spoils me. I count myself as lucky to have him.

Hair!!

My friend Camie has been growing her hair out to donate. So, when she asked me to cut it (and dye it by the way), I said yes!

The pictures speak for themselves but I do have to say that I love her cut and color! You can't tell in these pics but we highlighted it with a red and it turned out amazing!

I am super grateful that I have the ability to cut hair. I also cut my sweet husbands hair this week as well and feel good knowing that I can do that.

Open Road

My in laws are awesome. We have had such good weather lately so they decided to take the motorcycle out for a ride. It still makes me happy to see them all geared up and heading out on a ride.

Ah

It's been four months since I married Jared. It still feels like we are on our honeymoon to me. Which is wonderful!

I hardly see him during the week, an hour and half last night and only hour tonight, which makes me sad. I just try to remember that we have forever together.

I recently got around to getting wedding pictures printed and some canvases made. The collage of pictures on our living room wall is looking great! I can't wait for it to be done so that I can show it off.

For now, I'll just enjoy the pictures and knowing that I married the most wonderful man in the world.

Spoiled

Jared spoils me and I know it. I am so grateful every day for him. Today, he said he wanted to make me a treat and look what I got?

My husband spoils me and I know it. What a sweet first valentines day we had. It was another day we got to celebrate how much we love each other and how happy we are. There is no one I would rather be with.

What a sweet man! Yellow potted flowers, reese's candy and an mazing necklace! I love it so much.

Vegas!!!

What a wonderful husband I have! A surprise trip to Las Vegas is what awaited me on Friday. A quick trip but a trip nonetheless.

We are loving it and loving being away from home for a bit. So much more to post later, but enjoy a few pics from earlier today. Going to diner...

Surprise!

I love my husband. That isn't the surprise though! The surprise is that he surprised me with a trip to Vegas! Packed up and Away we went. We've had a rough month and needed something away from home. So when he popped up with this, it was perfect. So, off to the glitz and glitter, the loud and crazy and the far away Las Vegas.

I wouldn't trade my sweet husband for anything. He makes my life so sweet and wonderful. I know it must get boring to hear it, but I love him! I am so happy that we have forever to be together.

Giant Kisses

I'm not feeling well, so Jared resorted to this and a bowl if cereal for dinner. Poor guy! Looks like he like it though.

He has been so good at taking care of me, I am super grateful.

The Patience of a Glacier

I am so grateful for my sweet husband. He has been so great with me. He has more patience than a glacier (Which is something I totally need) and so loving. He calms me when I am crazy and emotional. He is strong when I fall apart.

I am so blessed to know that all those years of singleness brought me to him. He is exactly what and who I needed in my life. I only hope that I am the same for him.

We are still happy as we celebrated our six month anniversary and two months married. A whirl-wind of crazy and wonderful times. I can't wait for years to have passed for us. I love him more everyday and I love to see us grow and change.

So in love

My sweet husband made today special. First we went ring shopping. He wants to get a "wedding band" to add to my ring. So we tried lots. We settled on a band much like the picture but with the yellow sapphires. We had to order it in. I am betting it will show up around valentines or my birthday.
Then, he took me to ikea where we shopped until I was content. He spoiled me with all the things I wanted, almost.

Then dinner at the cheesecake factory!

Then we moseyed up to SLC and saw the lights at temple square by way of a horse drawn carriage! What a romantic and sweet husband I have.

We are now on our way to an undisclosed location (known only to Jared). I am so lucky and I love this man so very much. I couldn't have a better husband.

Make up the time to you. Don't give up or lose hope". I of course did quite that word for word, but every day I think of that and I look at my Jared and am more aware of how blessed and happy I am.
