So I know that I am the minority (which is fine, really!) among my friends in that I am single and never married. I have no cute kid stories. Other than nieces and nephews that I rarely get to see. So here is my question, what are things that are interesting to the majority of my friends and family that I can be a part of? I often feel out of place when the stories of "my husband said/did" or "my kid said/did". I love to hear the stories, I just don't know what to say. I just pop up and say, well my roommate doesnt take out the garbage? It doesn't quite fit.
The reality is that 95% of my friends are married with about 50% of them having kids. I laugh and enjoy it. What is it that I can share about my everyday life that is appealing to those who lead very different life styles because of the different place they are in life?
Oh the cosmic question!

I like new recipes, or crafts you are working on. Daily accomplishments, or events you go to. Weird things you see, or funny things at work. The seasons, creepy people, heck... ANYTHING! My friend Sarah Ferguson has a cool blog, she is so good a high lighting the ovbious in a very witty way. You should check her out.
Thanks for the ideas Emily! I just know that there are times when I just go...um...and have little to say. But there are always fun things that happen and oddities that make my life interesting.
