Change?

Do you ever feel the need for a change? Things just need a little extra umph? I do. I love my hair, it is so good to me, generally. But it is just at the end of its life. The curl comes naturally now (as it always does once it starts to get longer) and it is just hard to keep it out! And in humidity...there is no point in doing the hair...it won't work. So I decided it was time to get a cut.

What cut to get? shorter, for sure, but style? I mean, I have a great style now that I am older, not that you would have really known that back in my Prescott days, for all of you who knew me back then. It wasn't a bad style, it just lacked personality and that little bit of me. As I have gotten older I know my personal style better and better. It is a great mix (like all styles should be) of a classic style like Audrey Hepburn (who is a total style icon) and a little bit of a more current style with a few random pieces thrown in. I like for my hair to match that style. So what to do? A bob? Long layers? a total A line? What to do, what to do!

So I went to my stylist (who is also a good friend of mine in my ward) and said "make me look amazing!" Well to my utter glee and excitement, this is what she gave me:

I think it totally suits me. It is perfect for my style. A little funky but just enough to look good with any outfit, for any occasion.

So, What do you think?

SO CUTE! She did what you asked, you do look amazing, I think the new relationship glow on your face is actually the most beautiful thing, but that is beside the point....

Stace! That is fine! people call me both...it is ok! I love the new hair...I keep playing with it. I have a blonde streak in the bangs that is super fun when I play with it, so I will have to do something fun.

Thanks Hope! It is totally me. I am so glad that I am not the only one who thinks it makes me look amazing. Have you ever had hair cuts like that? no fun!

I am not brave enough to go to someone to cut it. Ever since the 7th grade (remember that horrid do, Em??) I have cut my own hair. There isn't much you can do with wirey curly hair anyways. Especially when you want to keep it long, and your hubby would freak if you cut it short... again!
