NNM and Nair

Well, my Nearly Naked Mile is tomorrow. I am excited! So much to do still and I am swamped. I took an accounting exam today (blah) and worked and did stuff for the event. I feel like I wasn't at home all day. Maybe it is because I wasn't. I left my house at 10:30 am (thank goodness for professors going out of town so no 8am class this week!) and did not get home until midnight. YIKES!
Two wonderful things happened today. First, I picked up the tee shirts for the Nearly Naked Mile today. I know it seems dorky but I was so excited that I was jumping up and down! No lie. People thought I was nuts. It is bright green and wonderful. I kept showing it to people telling them how cool it was. Everyone laughed. To me it is like the physical thing that represents all the hours and hard work that went into planning this event. This makes it not just plans and paper any more, but reality. This is culmination of it all. I LOVE THIS SHIRT!

The second was no less wonderful. Less spectacular to some maybe, but no less wonderful. I finally had the time (ok, so what if it was at 11:45 pm?) to head over the 24 hour walmart and pick up a much needed tube of Nair. My dear mother and her mother have blessed me with that oh-so-attractive-mustache-looking-thing. I have been forgetting and putting off this wonderful tube of $3.95 liquid happiness. So I just did it tonight, because a girl has to look her best at a big event right? I promptly came home and pulled that tube out and slathered myself with it. Oh that blasted 5 minute wait! But the moment of sheer joy of no more not-quite-but-almost-mustache is completely gone! Happiness.

So, tomorrow is my big day. I am hair-free and ready to go!

LOL!!! Nikki, you crack me up!! That is too funny. I know I have the curse hidden in me as well. I keep looking for it, making sure to catch it before it gets out of hand, but I am still clear of it. Now, adult acne... that is fun! Especially when my hormones are on the excessive side. LOL!!!!!

So the nair actually works? I tried Nair on my legs once, and it was not a good experience. Maybe the face is different. I usually just wax, but it would be much more convient to nair.

oh Liz, the nair is spectacular! I use it and it doesn't smell or burn or anything and just wipes right off. I LOVE it! Cheaper and a lot less painful. Totally worth it.

Thanks for the tip, I tried it this morning, and you are right, totally worth it. I don't know that I will stop getting waxed, but I think this is great for a little maintance in between. Make sure no starts calling me Brother Roberts right?

It's all about trade-offs! Yes, you got the 'stach but isn't the verbal ability worth every hair? :)
