2008?

As every new year comes along it is time to look back at the last year and reflect on the things you learned and did and look forward to the new and hope for all the good to come your way. I looked back at the last year and I was so happy to see some of the great times I had and see the lessons I learned.

In 2007 I traveled across the country, from Disneyland to Columbus Ohio, I learned so much. I spent time with some great people and got to learn so much about myself.

In 2007 I got things together and am planning weddings and making veils and people pay me! I learned that I am good at it and that people think I am good enough at it to pay me to help them.

In 2007 I learned that I am making choices that will affect my long term happiness. My life. I made the choice to take control of some aspects of my life that I have given others control of for so long.

In 2007 I learned how much I loved and needed my mom, and also that I don't need her as much as I used to.

As I look forward to 2008, I have hopes and goals, as everyone does. So, I am here to share with you my hopes and goals for 2008.

I will do the impossible, ok almost impossible, and finish school. So much is involved, but I will do it! I will.

In a few weeks I will be going to the temple. I am excited and happy about the choice I have made. It is wonderful and I am grateful for this chance at this point in my lfe.

Also, I am taking control of my weight. I have always struggled with it. Even as a kid I carried more than I should have. I have no illusions that I will ever be skin and bone and do not want to be, I just think there is room for improvement. So, I will be using my blog as way to keep track of my progress. Maybe it will be more than you want to know, but good too.

So, here you go. Here is to 2008, good and bad, easy and hard. I hope I continue to learn and grow and that as I look back on 2008 in a year I will feel like it was an accomplishment, not torture.

Nichole! What a great reflection of 2007 and I am excited for you in 2008, lots of milestones. I also have the weight loss goal(I know big suprise, I think 95% of the population does) but you might want to try weight watchers, it is the only thing that works for me, and I am back on it in the new year and have all ready lost 7 pounds. Good luck with all your goals, I know you can do it!
