31 Cents

I have been crazy busy this week. Working three jobs (I know!) and it really just wiped me out. I was working 18 hour days and it was really just killing me. But, I have the day off and I am enjoying being in my PJ's and not having to leave the house. Even if most of what I have to do laundry, dishes and cleaning, I don't mind.
Our garden is also something I am tending to today. Our peach and apple trees have begun to bloom, our strawberries are now a lovely pink and we are eagerly anticipating our first crop. We now have broccoli, cauliflower, red and green peppers, and tomatoes sprouted and we are excited to live out of our garden.
I am sharing the lovely pictures from Wednesday's 31 cent scoop night at Baskin Robbins. It was a lovely! I enjoyed two scoops of Mississippi mud and one of rocky road. I loved enjoying this cheap and fun evening treat with some of my best friends.

Lindsy is one of most cherished friends at the moment. She has faith in me and has listened to many hours of frustration and hurt in the last few months. I love her for it.

Javier and Dusty have been great friends, lots of laughs.Chris is one of the funniest people I know. He is the kind of person who takes 10 minutes to tell you he is going to be late for something. He is a musician, heavy metal musician thank you, and in so many ways VERY different from me, but I loved his confidence and ability to maintain who he is around me. I admire his ability to be so different and to know how to make everyone comfortable with who he is even if it isn't your style. Very cool.

And this is my dear friend Jenna, or Janena as I like to call her. She is so beautiful and so sweet. She brought me a gift just yesterday, a block of cheese. It is an inside joke to an extent but because of my love of cheese it was amazingly thoughtful.

I am just grateful for such wonderful friends in my life. I am abounding in good friends who see the good in me. Thank you friends, for adding joy and laughter to my life.

I wonder if we have that here! I love a good deal. And I love cheese, she sounds like an awesome friend! No explination needed.
