Well, as per Liz's suggestion I have been looking at scooters. I am still not totally sold on them, yet. Have you ever used one, loved it, hated it? Have any opinion? The idea of one is kinda fun, the gas is a HUGE sell, but I am not sure. I have been looking and so far these are my favs.
I have no idea what I will do, but I will be sure to keep you guys updated.

Well I will tell you the major downside of a scooter is that you can't get around like in a car. The max speed is usually around 50-55mph, which is great for around town but if you make lots of trips on the freeways, it is not realistic. There are so many great perks though, if you are an around town driver, the parking and gas cannot be beat. Plus if you have a scooter then you have an excuse to car pool with hot guys in your ward on Temple trips and to the airport etc...
Well I don't do a lot of freeway driving, so that works great for me. And I will admit asking the cute guys from church for rides lately have been a huge plus. I am sure that if I pull up on a scooter (the honda metropolition has taken the lead, thank you) they would drool. Oh the joy! Still debating, but it would be a great summer experience.
Nikki! Neal and I just made a blog and we are finding out that everybody else has one!! I just spent like an hour reading all your posts. Your wedding planning/veil making business looks like it is finally kicking off!
We bought a scooter in the beginning of may. Neal rides to work on it every day, and he loves it. We got a Yamaha Zuma. We have filled it up with gas once since we got it. I don't know about having a scooter as your only source of transportation though. For the summer/spring it is definitely worth it.
Hey Nikki, this is Neal. Nice blog, but really, who cares!? HAHA, I thought that your comment on our blog was funny. We'll try to add more pictures since it seems that you aren't seeing the ones we have...or since they aren't satiating your photo-hunger. Anyway, about the scooter, I think it's TOTALLY worth it. I think you would love it. I think you would save so much money on gas that you would pay for the thing in 2 years. Robin's right, it wouldn't do to have JUST a scooter, especially in the winter, but it's worth everything you pay for it to own it in the summer. My only caution is to get the right one. The Yamaha Zuma get's the best gas mileage of them all, and for a 50 cc it goes the fastest. It's reliable, and if I should ever need a replacement part, they are available. Don't get one of those cheap chinese brands. My sister Lora got one and it's junk. She's already had problems with it after only a month, and you have to order the parts from Germany - I know, it's CHINESE, but the only parts made their way to Germany. Go figure. The bottom line is, GET ONE. But make sure it's a Yamaha, or a Honda, and that it's fast!
P.S.
Get a helmet with a good windshield. This makes all the difference when you ride through bugs... :S
