Well thanks to Tricia and her work retreat, I got a mini-vacation to Park City this last week. She got a room at a hotel in Park City and she invited Logan and I up one night to enjoy some time away. So after work Thursday Logan and I headed up there for our adventure.
First we got lost and had to turn around a few times which made us late for Dinner. So we ended up eating at a Chinese place that was good. We had Orange Chicken, Sweet and Sour Chicken and Crispy Duck. All were great. I like duck and was glad when Logan decided that was what he wanted. It was great.
We enjoyed some Guitar Hero and some random walks around the hotel. It was so much fun to just be away and to be away with my two best friends. We ended up watching Selena on TV until almost 2am! At which point the lights went off, but we still giggled, laughed and threw pillows around for another hour.
In the morning, Logan took forever to wake up. It was 10am before he got his bony butt out of bed! And the only reason he got up is because we started taking pictures of him. What a great way to start a day!
Sleepy Logan
Tricia trying to get us up in the morning, she was too cute! After we got up Logan and I headed up to the Deer Valley Ski Resort and took the ski lift up to the top of the mountain. I am not great with the lifts but Logan and I had a blast. 
What beautiful views! It was so quiet and peaceful. I was really excited to just be away from the world for a little while. I loved the ride and Logan was a great companion for the day. He knows when to be quiet and listen and when to change the subject. As you can tell from the last post, he had a lot of fun teasing me by shaking the ski lift and it was not funny at the time but now I have to laugh at it.

That sounds and looks like it was such fun! I am so envious right now!! Want to come to our extra house and help paint, replace carpet, put in a wood floor....?

FUN!! Was it the Homestead? I love that place.
It was so much fun. I have the best friends! I feel comfortable and able to just be myself with them and we all know how hard that can be to find sometimes. :)
Hope, I would love to come help out, if only you weren't so far away...
