Ok, so when your best friend is a guy, what are they good for? The gab sessions that I enjoy with my girlfriends and the shopping and nights of cookie dough, don't so much work with Logan. So what do I use him for? Why what you use all guys for! haha.

Today Logan fixed my bathroom door. Yes, he broke out his beloved (and I do mean beloved) DeWalt Power Drill, hammer, screw driver and his favorite tool of all, the chisel. With these tools and few screws, he fixed the door so that is closed easily. What a great guy! And all this in his suit.
The best part of this whole thing is that Logan is the one who came to me and asked if he could fix the door after I found him opening and closing the door over and over one night. So he packed up his drill and tools (he was just looking for an excuse to use his tools, I think he misses it a little) and happily set to work.

This is of course after he came, moved my couch, vacuumed and helped me set up chairs for my big ward thanksgiving. Which might I add was a HUGE success! I expected about 35 people (which is the about the norm for these things) but I ended up feeding 75 people! 75!!! All in my house. It was packed! Logan stayed and helped clean up afterward as well. Sometimes having a guy as a best friend is helpful. Having Logan for a best friend, is a blessing.

Not only was it a big day for fixing things and for feeding twice as many people than were planned for, but it was a spiritual day as well. I felt compelled to share my testimony today and it was an amazing experience. I was so grateful for the reminder that I know that my father in heaven loves me and knows me and my happiness and struggles. I am grateful that families are forever, even when mine isn't so great. I am grateful for wonderful friends who love, support and encourage me to be better. I am so blessed! And I was so happy to hear Logan bare his testimony as well. It strengthened mine and reminded me how blessed I am to have him as a friend.
