Good Day

Today I got to spend the day with my friend Cassie. We are an odd pair in a lot of ways but we get a long really well.

I tagged along as she got lunch (I had the last part of a Cafe Rio sweet pork salad, yum!) and enjoyed a little bit of asphalt pie. So good.

Then, we treated ourselves to a spring manicure. Well, she got her nails filled and I got a manicure and for the great price of $13, I felt it was a good spend. I get my nails done maybe once a year to clean up the cuticles because lets face it, I hate to do them. I love the place we went, really nice, clean and they took their time and did it right. No rushing and half way jobs. Hopefully they will last through friday, but if not that is ok. I got this purple colored polish which is not so much normal but definitely fun.

Sometimes you have to embrace the girly-girl within...right?
