I am amazed at some people's desire to have their lives, their person or other people's lives look "perfect". Everybody knows you aren't and that no one is. It is kind of amazing to me that some people try to make others think that. I guess I just don't see the need. I don't flaunt all the bad and faults, but at the same time, I don't hide them either.
Today I was made more aware of it. I had a rough weekend, I had a large ovarian cyst pop and it was painful. So when I mentioned that I had a rough weekend, no details included, they were kind of taken aback and said that it wasn't something they needed to know. Really? You asked and you are going to say my answer was the wrong one? Really?
I just know too many people who try to make their lives out to be the perfect version of what they think they should have. I don't have a perfect life, but I will admit, it is pretty amazing, but it has flaws like everyone does.
