Christmas Traditions

What a wonderful christmas season! I have been enjoying the chance to share it with Jared and to share my traditions with him and to learn new ones from him. Seems like we are great fit. We have seen Christmas lights all over Utah, seen The Savior of the World play in SLC which depicts the birth, life and Resurrection of Christ, watched cheesy Christmas movies, eaten my famous Candy Cane popcorn, we are going to the MoTab Christmas concert tomorrow, enjoying the lights on temple square and a carriage ride. Our favorite new tradition is an advent. Each day we open an envelope that has Christmas related activities. From reading about Christ's life in the bible to making Christmas cookies. It has been a wonderful way for us to enjoy the season together. I love him and season more every day.

I, of course, am done with all my shopping. Jared on the other hand has exactly 4 presents for me, all of which I was there when he purchased or he told me about them. I love my amazing husband but boy does he make me laugh!

We got our wedding pictures back and I love them, which is good! I am so happy with how they turned out and how they captured us and our day. I can't wait to show them off but it will have to wait until after christmas. You may be getting a sneak peek in the mail if you are on my mailing list.

I have more to share but not as much time as I would like to share it in. So, for now, I will share a picture instead. Enjoy!

So happy for you!! Our first Christmas was spent a week after we got married. Crazy thing for sure. It was also my first time experiencing a divided family. That was interesting. We learned then and there that our own traditions are what make our family what is is, not anyone else's. Merry Christmas!!!
