I have always been a shopper. And by shopper I mean that I have always found something I liked or wanted and researched it. Could I get it cheaper? Will it last? How much do I really want/need it. After all the comparisons and research, if I still want it, I buy it.
I have also always loved coupons. Why pay more for something than someone else is paying for it? If Suzy down the street got her milk for $2.10, I don't want to pay $2.15.
This week, my research and coupons paid off.
I got every thing you see in the picture (except the couch, etc) at Target for $33.67. Before the coupons, it rang up at $107.25.
I brought it home and proudly showed it off to the husband, who quickly agreed that it was why he loved me. Not to mention that I also got 2 $5 gift cards for purchases too!
Its days like that, between my need to have plenty of food and food storage and my couponing, researching ways, that I know we will always have what we need. It makes me feel accomplished and like I am using every penny we have to the best of its abilities.
