The trip home was crazy...I got searched and my bags did too and then my flight was late leaving which gave me 15 minutes to try to make my connection at the other end of the airport. So I ran the whole way and made it just as they were going to close the door. Lady Luck was on my side. The winds were crazy and it made the first flight a bumpy one and I did not feel so great. The second one was ok after we got up into the air.
As we flew over the mountains I began to get the feeling of being home. It was so great to fly
over Ogden and see the school and where my house is. I could hardly wait to get there.

I started my internship today and it will be crazy and wonderful! I have my own little office and I love it! It will take a lot of work but it will be awesome. It is what I want to be doing and I love that. And, added bonus, I get to go to the new employee training that is held at the begining of June! You have no idea how thrilling that is to me! It is like your mom telling you as a kid that you can have ice cream for breakfast!
I got an email from one of very best friends today. Jason and I have been friends forever. We have kept in touch over the years and today I got an email from him and I suddenly remembered how much fun we used to have and how great he was for me. I love old friends. I loved hearing about his wife and two girls. They are all so cute! I realized how much he affected my life and how much I have changed since we last saw each other. Old friends are great and I love to hear from them and I love to reconnect.

Wow! I haven't seen Jason in... forever. I remember hanging out in Seminary, goofing off while we were supposed to be working on Scripture Mastery. Somehow, Jason was always the first one to go up and recite his... even though he was keeping us completely distracted from doing it ourselves! Tell him I said Hi!
I know what you mean by home. I am grateful to call this place home. When we lived in Texas, I use to continue to consider AZ my home. But the last time I went there for a visit, it seemed soooo different. I am happy to have a place to call Home again!!
I will post pics of Jason on his little family on here so you can see. He was always good at stuff like that and it drove me nuts!
I have not seen Jason in a long time! They were in our ward (Iron Springs) for a while, but I don't remember if we moved away first or they did. Please post pics, it will be fun to see!
Oh yeah, and welcome home.
Hey Nikki, or I guess it is Nichole now, I will try to make the conversion, great to see you have a blog. Speaking of old friends, Liz (Stanford) Roberts here, I am happy to see you are doing so well, and you look beautiful, I LOVE your hair, so cute! So more details about the internship please... what are you doing and who are you working for?
