Fireworks

So every year Weber State has the Utah Symphany come and play for Pioneer Day (a very Utah holiday, thank you very much!) and then there is a huge fireworks show. It is supposed to be the biggest fireworks show in Utah. It is a huge deal in the area and people come the day before to stake out their spots by the duck pond where they shoot off the fireworks and the syphany plays. It is a night full of fun.

So this year we decided to take part in the mania and stake out a spot the night before. So Tricia and I headed over about 9 pm to get a good spot. Luckily it was a good spot.

We had a good group show up, our friends Tom, Vaughn, Clayton, Danny, Dan, Drew, Jemay, Melinda, Tricia and I. We played a couple hands of skip-bo and had otter pops and chips. Too much fun!

The fireworks did not disapoint, the best ones I have seen this year.

Liz, you are so funny... good job! Ha-ha. I love the photos you got of the fireworks, they are great, mine are not so great this year, they are blurry and out of focus.
