root of all evil Or the root of no fun

So they say money is the root of all evil. Well today I feel it. All of my friends (except Jessica! Thank Goodness!) have all gone away for a few days to play. They went up to a resort in Idaho to play on the river and have fun.

They left me here to work. WORK! I am heading to Ohio next week for a school trip (yippee for SAA!) but that means that poor lil' me has to stay home from this fun trip, 'cause I don't have the money for two trips!

They will laze about on the river, playing and having fun and flirting...FLIRTING without me. How fair is that? Really?

Although, for your information I have done a fair bit of flirting lately...and it is begining to pay off. Sometimes boys can be so cute! As Abba would say (I am on a bit of an Abba kick lately) "Gimme, Gimme, Gimme, a man after midnight..."

But Can I say that I am excited to go to Ohio, even though it will be humid, which I cannot stand! The four of us going (only a small group of the leadership goes every year) are going to have so much fun. We are all a little nutty but it is incredibly fun. A couple of hotel rooms and people from all over the country...it is the reason that I am not totally dying about not being able to go on the Snake River Trip. I have to make money so that I can take off the couple of days that I need for the other trip.

Though, I am day dreaming about louging on the river...just drifting down on an intertube or enjoying other river activities...I will just have to remember that in a weeks time I will be on an airplane and that is more fun!

Isn't that always the way, you either never have the time or the money to do all the fun things you want. So is there a particular young fellow that all this flirting is directed at? Do tell..

A particular one, yes. Very particular one. I am as giddy as a 12-year-old-girl, and I love it!

Ohio sounds fun, but the humidity is a yuckky thing. Today, we are so humid here in Texas-- our windows are fogged! Sounds delightful? Dreadful!

more details will come...I am just formulating the perfect post to make it totally entertaining. I know you old married women are dying for the soap-opera tidbits. They are coming!

Are you going to spotlight him on the blog? Have we seen him yet in any of your other photos? What is his name, what is he like, what does he do, how did you meet him, is he your boy freiend, birth order, favorite band, middle name, last movie watched, last book read, birthday, favorite holiday, favorite snack, salty or sweet? How long have you known him, what color are his eyes, if he were a breakfast cereal which one would he be, and why? ANd of course any other info you are willing to reveal....

SO many questions! They will all be answered soon enough. But I met him at church, he is younger than I am (ha ha ha!) and he has brown eyes. Super fun.
