Home

So I am home. Ohio was tons of fun and I got some great pictures too. I have not had a chance to upload them yet though. I will this evening at my other job though. Not to worry.
Things I learned while away:
  • I miss my bed
  • I miss me time
  • I missed jessica (and still called her a couple times!)
  • I missed my routines
  • I like Columbus, Ohio
  • I am in love with a pair of Steve Madden teal pumps
  • I love crabcake sandwhiches
  • I do not like humidity
  • I am glad I have a personal moral code
  • People are genuinely nice
  • Fog is beautiful

Those are just a few of the things that this trip reminded me of.

On a sad/happy note...while taking a picture my advisor/friend dropped my camera right on the lens. Sad. We tried to fix it but it didn't work. She felt so bad that she bought me a new one. More megapixels, which is nice, but sad too. So I don't have as many pictures as I wanted.

More to come soon. I was up too late last night "talking" with my new friend. So I will dowload pictures and tell good stories when I am awake again.

I'm sorry about your camera but I'm so thrilled that she was an awesome example of good manners and responsibility. It is obvious that your advisor is a woman of character. You are lucky to have that example in your life!

So nice that your friend bought you a new camera, what a classy thing to do. Welcome back, sounds like you had a great time and I hope you treated yourself to the teal pumps.

SO you only missed Jessica? Was there maybe someone else you missed too? You are trying my patience(not that it is hard) but please for my mental health, I want to see pics and hear all about your "friend".

From all that I have read and heard from everyone it sounds as if you are having tooo much fun.Hey, how about sharing some fun with me!!!Everything is going good, you know to how it is working, helping Morgan with homework and just trying to keep up with everything. This past June we went to the San Diego Zoo, Sea World and we even got to squeeze in some time at Balboa Park with all the fun musuems and got so sun burned.Morgan found a jelly fish and yes she did pick it up!! At first when I saw it I thought it was a breast implant (After all it is California right?)then I realized that it was a jelly fish and I slapped it out of her hand and luckily she didn't get stung.Whew!!Outside of that we have been working fools here in Death valley (well so it seems).I am so glad that you are doing really well and taking life to an all new high and enjoying it.Good for you!!!Keep up the great work!I am not sure on how to send you a picture of us through this blogging thing.I am not that great at computers yet.I know,I know, well behind the times.I guess that is what happens to you when you get older.Morgan is almost as tall as me already. That is so crazy and she has alot of Nathan's mom side in her. That is the truth for sure.Outside of that we are just hanging out at this moment trying not to get sick.It has already started here with the flu and cold season again. It is really getting old.Hopefully when we move in the next 2 years we won't have to worry about it very much.Yeah right!Outside of that not too much has been going on.I am going to mess around on the computer to see if I can get some pic's loaded for ya. K? Have a blast of a time, Becky (sister -in- law)
