Let the posting Begin!

So, I finally had a moment (litterally it was the time between brushing my teeth and getting clothes out of the dryer) to download my pictures. So I will be posting a bunch today. Keep checking through out the day and tomorrow 'cause I have lots!

Bright and early we started out at the air port. There were five of us heading to the ASAP (student alumni networking) conference in Columbus Ohio. We had a quick flight to denver (1.25 hrs) and then a longer one to Columbus (2.5 hrs). My friend Stacie (the SAA president this year, in black), Matt (VP of external affairs), Dave (purple-pack chair {which is a sports fan club for WSU}, in green), Becky (our Supervior, in white) and Me (the Executive VP). We left wednesday and came back sunday, and let me tell you, it is a trip to remember!
When we got there it was 3pm and we were ready to eat. we had lost two hours and it was lunch time, but since we had gotten up so early it felt even later to us. So we headed to the area district and ate at Buca di Beppo's. They took us through the kitchen and then we ordered. Now let me tell you something. We have the p-card. What is a p-card you ask? it is a magical card that pays for things. So we ordered some of everything! We had eggplant, ravioli, spagetti, fettacini, manacotti, salmon, baked ziti, connolli's and breads and salads and soups. We also had some italian sodas, I had raspberry,YUM!

Let's just say we had to roll some people out of there. But it was good and we got there right before the dinner rush. Can't beat that!

Afterward we headed over to the football stadium at the Ohio State University (the is an official part of the name of the school, so don't forget to add it ha ha ha!) Dave is a fan and just had to see the place. It had some pretty cool architechture. Not a big fan of spending lots of time there doing nothing but marveling at the field, which the guys did. Call me crazy.

Out side they had a little artsy art piece. I am an artsy person and enjoy things like that. So we went and saw that, and that was fun. Did you know that Ohio State is the biggest college campus in the United States? it is. So there was lots to see. It was fun to see another campus but I like mine.
We headed back to the hotel to get some sleep and just explore there for the rest of the night. We went and looked at all the floors, the pool and the lobby. super fun! We hung out with the guys and had a mini meeting about SAA this next year. We laughed and joked and then "went to bed". Needless to say, Stacie were up until 2am talking and giggling like the girls that we are. We regretted it the next day, but it was so much fun! A great way to start off a great trip. That is for sure.

How come Ohio State football players won’t drive a Japanese car?

They don’t think they’ll understand what’s said on the radio.
