Mufflers

When things are going wrong and you are not sure how to fix them, it is amazing how they seem to work out. I had the most crazy and wonderful week and I am so grateful for the people who stuck by me even when it got a little nuts.
The muffler became unattached on my car a little while back. I didn't have the time to take it in and get it fixed. I mentioned this in passing to a friend. He told me on friday that he had made an appointment to take my car in to get it fixed the next day while I was in meetings. How sweet of him! So I left him my key and went to my meetings. When I returned that afternoon, my car was there and fixed! I called to thank him and he told me that there was a hole in the muffler that needed to be fixed, so he had put a new muffler on my car. I sighed and shook my head, one more thing. I asked him how much I owed him, and he refused to tell me. After a couple attempts he said, "Nichole, I want to do this for you. Please, let me do it."
Now I know that it isn't some big fancy piece of jewelry or flowers or anything even remotely adorable like that. To me, it was the most wonderful and perfect gift I could have been given. How blessed I am to have so great and wonderful people in my life. How lucky I am to have such an amazing and thoughtful friend. A best friend.
I do not know what I could do to repay him. Dinner seems not enough...but what else can I do to repay such a thoughtful and perfect gift? I do not know, but I will be on the look out for a chance to do something even half a sweet.

Wow! I think that goes in the "prince charming behavoir" category. Very Sweet! I think we might have to keep this one. Keep the updates coming!
