Texts Answer Prayers

You all know that me and texting are friends. I can't help it. I am addicted. I text on and off all day long. What a great way to keep up with busy friends. Really, I love texting.

This was a hard week for me. I had a bunch of things that just added up and made me less than myself. It was not fun at all. Yesterday as I pleaded with my Heavenly Father to help me feel less alone, he listened and answered in the most unexpected ways.

First, my Bishop texted me. Yes, you read right. My Bishop. He is an inspired man and though not a texter, he said he just felt the need. Then my dear friend Jeremy texted me and tried to call and when I didn't answer, came over as quickly as he could. He helped me clean as I cried out my fears and anxieties.

If I had to tell you about how my prayers are answered, it would not have been this way. But I am grateful for the wonderful chance I had for the Lord to touch my life yesterday through these two wonderful men.

Your Bishop texts! Wow! Glad these two guys were around to help when you were overwhelmed. I hope things get better for you soon.

Glad to hear that you have the support you need... cool that you have a texting bishop. Texting is too hard on me, I have to think too much about it and I'd rather just talk-- you know, I'm stuck in the 90's I guess.

I have never texted, but I am sure if I did I would be in trouble!!

You know you can call if you need to talk, Nikki. I know we haven't spoken since I last saw you in Prescott, but you are welcome to call and cry whenever you need to.

Oh, and, TAG!! (Look at my blog!)

Yeah, I don't really have anyone to text... sad eh? I tried texting for my sister in law while she was driving, I was tragicly slow, I guess it takes some practice.

It does take practice, but it is way fun! I am seriously a text-aholic. But if you need a text buddy, I am your man!
