Coated in Love

I have an obsession. A love affair if you will...with coats. I can't get enough and it is that time of year when the fall collection of coats is donned in store windows and catalogs and I love it!
I love all kinds of coats from casual to formal, I can't get enough. Here are just a few of my favorites.

The white is class and clean. It can get dirty quickly, but there is something so clean and sophisticated about a white coat. This one has clean lines and love the way it looks with a bright scarf and gloves. Not to mention an adorable hat.

.

I adore YELLOW. Love it. I think it is wonderful that this beautiful yellow coat brings the hope of spring and an unexpected shade in the winter. I love it! I love the little bit of fullness at the bottom of this one and I love the buttons. Paired with brown gloves and hat, perfect!

.

I think every woman should have a coat that is not sensible. One that you may not wear in three years, that is a piece you just love. I love this hounds tooth with the short sleeves. Not practical, but so sassy and makes a statement. Not to mention that it is a definite eye catcher. Buy a cheap one on sale or at a thrift store so you don't feel so bad about this impractical but amazing purchase.
.

Basic black. Everyone, man or woman should have one of these. I like this slightly modern take on the black. I love it paired with the red.

.

You have to have a casual and warm coat. I love this plaid hooded jacket. Great for a fall afternoon hike, a bonfire or just a quick trip. You have to have a casual coat that is just fun. This is the one that I love.

.

Ok, purple. I love the bright colors. This color is more the reason for this coat, the coat is cute, but you have to have a coat that isn't black or brown. Go outside of yourself and venture into the world of color friends!

.

I just love this coat! A fun bright color warm and I LOVE the buttons. The collar is to die for and I love the little details. This is my dream coat for this season.

I am in preference to the first days of Fall. Cool and crisp, but rarely a need for coats. I prefer light jackets, if anything. But those are adorable!!!!

I love that pink one with the big buttons! Where is it from?

Aut! The pink coat is from Von Maur (www.vonmaur.com), which is pretty much a mid-west thing, but with family in Iowa...I have all kinds of shopping sources. :)

IF I can rock a white coat with two messy boys and keep it pretty clean, you could too!
